Varicose Veins/Leg Vein/Spider Vein Reduction
What are the Benefits? Our advanced technology minimizes the redness and bruising normally associated with tradtional treatments. Best of all, our technology allows us to treat people of any ethnic origin and skin type including tanned skin.
How does it work?
The laser energy is absorbed by the pigment in your blood and collapses the unwanted vein. The laser energy is delivered through a hand-held device with a cooling tip that protects your skin.
Is it Safe?
Cosmedx provides the most advanced FDA cleared laser technology for the reduction and elimination of Unwanted leg Veins, Spider Veins, and broken capillaries.
How Many Treatments will be Needed?

You can optimize your results by closely following the post treatment instructions. The usual treatment interval is eight weeks.
Are there any side effects?
Immediately following the procedure you may experience some redness in the treated area. This redness usually dissipates within one to three days. WE RECOMMEND NO HEAVY AEROBIC ACTIVIITY OR HOT TUBS FOR 3 DAYS FOLLOWING THE PROCEDURE.
How Long Does Each Treatment Take?
Most treatments will take between 15 - 30 minutes depending on the size of the area to be treated.
Does it Hurt?
The treatment feels a bit like a rubber band snapping across the skin. We can use a topical anesthetic that is applied in the office to minimize any discomfort you may feel.
When Will I see Results?
The appearance of leg veins will either dramatically fade or completely disappear during the treatment. Some vessels may show temporary swelling that will subside after a few hours to a few days. The redness of the treated vessles will gradually disappear as the healing process occurs. This may take between two and twelve weeks.
Reduce Acne Scars
How does it work? The laser stimulates collagen growth. The collagen begins to plump up the scar from the inside, minimizing the scars appearance.
When will you see results?
Effects are cumulative. After the first treatment, you might see some improvements. The severity of the scarring will determine how quickly you will see results.
How often can you have it done?

Reduce and Eliminate Shaving Bumps (Pseudo Folliculitis)
How does it work?Laser Light is absorbed by pigment in actively growing hair, damaging the hair follicle and thus hair re-growth is impeded, reducing and eliminating the bumps caused by ingrown hairs. The average patient sees at least a 75% short-term reduction of shaving bumps within two weeks after just one or two treatments. One or two annual touch up treatments may be needed after completing the initial treatment series.
Is it Safe?
Cosmedx provides the most advanced FDA cleared laser technology for the reduction and elimination of Pseudo Folliculitis, more commonly known as shaving bumps. These may appear on any commonly shaved area of your body. This advanced technology allows us to treat all ethnic groups and skin types safely and effectively. A Nurse Practitioner performs all treatments.
How Many Treatments will be Needed?
Only a portion of your hair is in the active growth phase at the time of the treatment. Therefore, a series of treatments will be required to achieve the long-term improvement you desire. These treatments are spaced approximately 4 - 12 weeks apart, based on hair growth cycles. Long-term improvement is seen after completing a series of four to six treatments.
